So they've replied simply stating that its in their Cost Profiler - however, when they told me there was R150 transfer fee, and that the partial holdings would need to be sold, I specifically discussed topping it up, instead of selling it for a cash balance - I then replied that they can only sell the partial shares if they transfer the entire holdings, i.e. shares + balance - they didn't respond - and sold the partial shares, and have only transferrred that - basically, they did not accept my instruction fully - and did as they pleased.

EE now charges an R25 per month fee disguised under the Thrift loyalty program. They can thus jack it up anytime they want and give you more hoops to jump through.Am i missing something? Why is everyone jumping ship?
righteous indignation...Am i missing something? Why is everyone jumping ship?
Ok, I am aware of the fee they introduced. Didn't think it was such a big deal.

I started moving two months before the fee, my reasons were:Am i missing something? Why is everyone jumping ship?
I started at the beginning of the month with moving my TFSA account from EasyEquities, still in progress... its not a fun process.Eish ok. Must be a ball ache of note to close your account etc.
I am in the process of moving my TFSA acc from Capitec to NinetyOne and that is a mission. On the Capitec side.
Apologies if this has been asked before.

Is it even legal for them to sell off shares to cover the monthly fee?
I just recently started to play arround with EE and only found out about this by chance.Institutions do it all the time... I would however go to an ombudsman if they sold shares in my TFSA to cover a daily trading account's fees - if they insist you can't close it while having an open TFSA. i.e. they're forcing you into a loyality program with fees unreleated to your TFSA.
Option B.I just recently started to play arround with EE and only found out about this by chance.
Just to play around and get accustomed to the whole thing I deposited R100 in the EC10 ETF. Now what if I leave it there and it runs out? Are they going to hand me over to the credit buro? Or come to my house and knock my kneecaps in?

I made a deposit of R10 into my EE account somewhere in November, and I'm still on level 0, why?
