Preset proportions for buying shares. So if you set it at 25% for share A, 25% for share B and 50% for share C and you buy for R1000 it will buy R250 of share A, R250 of share B and R500 of share C. The same way their baskets work as has been explained.Oh no?

Geez if you need a diagram infographic to understand this it's no wonder you don't know that Pipcoins is not a pyramid scheme.
To answer the question, it's unlikely they will ever have this. With each share attracting a separate fee they can't even be breaking even on the baskets. It's likely a loss leader to attract new customers hoping most will see the advantages of buying individual shares over a pre-chosen set of stocks.
That is exactly what portfolio is and that's exactly what I do. Seems to be you are just lazy and want easyequities.co.za to do it for you.
As for the pyramid scheme I guess you are then smarter than fin week, Simon and the FSB.
That's exactly the problem, charging the same fees while incurring extra costs.I don't see why it can't work. They can charge the same fees just your money can be automatically allocated to the selected shares.
With the baskets I believe the holdings are similar to that of the unit trusts from Emperor.

What if I had a whole list of shares, in my basket and needed to allocated some money, quickly, lets say the market is down and you need to buy like 17 shares?
Do you still think that's an unreasonable request? Or would you just tell us to go find a broker?
Any income is only applicable if you sell shares. If it's in a TFA account it doesn't matter though.I am doing my tax efiling, but I'm not sure how to fill in the Tax Free Investment section.
Would capital gains/losses only be applicable if I sold shares?
How do I calculate the net return on investment (profit/loss)?
.Hey there ,
Did 10 days just seem like too long to wait for the cash from the sale of shares to become available? Well we're sending you this email with the excellent news that we're changing that.
How long will you wait now? Just 5 business / working days.
It's just zero zero zero if you haven't withdrawnRegarding tax returns...Anybody know which values from an EE Tax certificate (TFSA) go where on the tax return?
There are no tax numbers (eg 4219) on the EE tax certificate.
Is it necessary to complete this part of the tax return?
Say what? It's just zero zero zero if you haven't withdrawn
Can anyone please explain to me what exactly their new terms and conditions mean? Am I now being forced to have money in my account for the recurring transactions, or either setting up a debit order ? And if I don't like it, they'd be happy to close my account for me?
They sent me a mail outlining their new terms and conditions. From what I understand they want to put mandatory purchases in place, by either a bedit order or having available funds in your ee account .Wait I am not sure what you mean?
You need to deposit money into your account with easyequities.co.za in order to buy shares in easyequities.co.za
