you need to have a net positive deposit i.e. just deposit more than you take out, but that only covers the thrive feeApparently you can avert this by making an auto deposit of R1 per month.
bitcoin, and I'm balls deep, but everyone moaning about conviction money should stop to consider if they would have had the stomach to hold that investment through the ups and the downsPurple and Webuycars for me. Got in at the right time, but didn’t go in with conviction money.
Their link (on both the app and website) to submit a support ticket is broken. Currently the only way to contact support other than messaging them on their social media and hoping for a response. For a platform holding client assets, this is shocking. I've decided to move to a serious brokerage and not this clownshow. I have been with them the last 5 years, but I've now had enough

The limit on the purchase amount is whack. I suspect it has something to do with their exposure or risk or whatever. I donno.
I just send a mail to the trading desk and give instructions to buy. Works quite well. Not ideal, but wtf can you do.
I've got a negative balance in my TFSA. I made sure to leave money in my main EE account just in case but it looks like EE decided to take the fees out of the TFSA. Does anyone know if this affects your R500000 limit?
My email orders have been concluded within 20 min so far every time. Toss way to do a deal but ja.it can't be because I have to do 100x individual transactions <-- I'm dramatising but I have done 10x before! so the final amount is the same
imagine wanting to buy a share and then having to email a company with an automated response that says "we will try and reply to you in 5 days!"
I owned Nepi rockcastle a while back... wanted to sell it as its done and dusted, nope platform would not allow me to sell it, says I must contact them.. something to do with the stock delisting etc etc... their response is "it seems fine from our side..." after I sent them a screenshot of the denial of sale and saying, "contact EE etc etc"
To the chap would mentioned IBKR <-- yes excellent and quick and easy platform with almost zero fees <-- South Africa thieves should learn from this
