Edgemead Congestion

Got a call from Telkom 2 weeks ago RE upgrading exchange - I am in Century City area, so not sure if this also apply to the Edgemead exchange

Anyway, line went down just after the Bok NZ game, and came back on at 2:30pm
SNR used to be around 9, now 19 on 2mb line

I am currently connected to the BOTHASIG (WBTG) Exchange

I'm on the same exchange as you. I'm pretty sure this issue started a month or 2 ago. Everything was great up until then. Now I sometimes have to reboot my router a few times before my 1Mb line Syncs at 1023 Down/511 Up. Sometimes it only syncs at like 623K or something stupid like that. Before I had no issues syncing at 1024/512.

I'm still using the old Telkom Netgear DG834GU-V5. So no. Also, I know it's working properly, because I have a spare one for comparison/backup.

That way, I can be 100% sure before logging faults with Telkom.
