We moved to Edgemead in September and I had my ADSL installed on the 23rd. From that first day our internet was a lot slower than it should be. The 4mb line would get 0.8mb-1.2mb.... So on the 1st of October I logged a fault and the person on the other side of the line tells me its a network fault.
Since then I've phoned back every 4-5 days querying the fault and every time they told me the same story. "We will escalate the problem but they dont know what the cause of the network fault is. Inbetween this they were doing a network upgrade in the area and I was told that by the 29th of October the fault would be solved by this. That didnt happen so I phoned again. Same story, there's a network fault and they are trying to determine what the issue is. So I asked to speak to a supervisor and that was then not allowed and they told me that they will escalate the matter. I then asked them to make a note for the person receiving this escalation to phone me when they get it. That never happened.
Then the last time I phoned I asked them to just move my line to a different exchange because just down the road is another exchange and one of my friends are connected to it and he hasn't had any issues. That didnt work either so I phoned today and now they tell me that the network fault is actually the exchange that is congested and they do not have an ETA for when it will be resolved.
I am currently connected to the BOTHASIG (WBTG) Exchange
Does anyone know what I can do next?
