Elder scrolls online

Heya! Me and two of my friends also got in? Does anyone in the Cape Town area have a copy of the game so maybe we could come copy the 20gb client with a HDD :) if so that would be amazing!! Weeeee!
 
THe price on Elder Scrolls online is insane because of the rand/eur exchange rate!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also having to pay monthly subscription in EUR is going to be expensive
 
Cool beta is downloading now, is the servers up? Or are we only available to play this weekend ?
 
me wants feedback on how it is compared to skyrim etc...
 
Just got a Beta key, registered and dl'd launcher. 21gb to go, sad thing is i just cant do that. Anyone in PTA that can help?
 
Well got my key at 11pm Wednesday night, downloading 22Gb on a 2Mb account is painful, but I'm doing it. Should have it all down before Friday 12pm EST (7pm local). Woot?
 
Ok so I asked on the Beta forum what the total download size is, first download is a 22Gb client which then downloads another multitude of different patches (total 20Gb) which translates down to a 30Gb on disk install. In other words around 42Gb of downloading needs to take place before Friday 7pm. Have fun.

The good news is (unless it isn't), the day the game officially launches, you just redeem your pre-order purchase code and it will patch the beta client to the full release client.

Luckly got my key last night, 25mb line was put to work and finished everything in a few hours :D Now to wait till friday
 
Does anyone have a hard copy in JHB around the Edenvale / Bedfordview area?

This download will not even finish by Monday, never mind tomorrow :-(
 
I was in the last beta - if anybody needs the client in Cape Town then PM me ...

The last beta client was about 25gb, the new has expanded to nearly 30gb.

My personal view from the last beta is that I would be hard pushed to pay the ticket price for the game and monthly subs. From what I have seen there is nothing revolutionary for an MMO. But that said to be fair it is in beta and I enjoyed it and will definitely play this beta weekend - so make your own opinions.
 
Any one worried about the lag this weekend? cause the beta will be hosted on the US Mega server and not the UK server....

On another Note I have the Game fully patched, Im in Kempton park if anyone else needs a copy for this weekends Beta
 
Also, does anyone have the beta download in the Joburg east/south area
