Elder scrolls online

Probably not a lot of interest so far. Only reason why its fun, is because its new. I think it will become dull very quickly. I still don't see why a subscription is necessary.

Not sure.. because BETA's was packed with server login problems when they first tested it and login que's..

Can't believe I managed to get the name "Drops The Soap" for my Argonian!

Early access name reserving ftw!

quick! burn all new things!

Just some info for those interested.. I have had terrible latency issues last night, could have been my ISP, kept getting kicked or lagged out, got latency from 1000 - 3000ms looking at my resource monitor.

I then pulled the old trick and installed Pingzapper, awesome Game Proxy software.. once i launched ESO through Pingzapper it was amazing.. no latency issues and felt like i was playing next to the servers, spell responses was way faster, made the gameplay so much better on the end.

I beleave once they move the servers to EU it would even be more amazing.

If anyone is interested testing it out.. you can download Pingzapper and it comes with a "1 hour" session each time free.

If you decide on buying a monthly sub which cost $3 don't forget to refer me :) which will give me and yourself extra time on your account.

But don't take my word for it give it a try first.. https://pingzapper.com/ref/shirou

Not my guild, but a great multi south african guild it is, mostly all of us are from mygaming forums :)

Never mind me, I'm just venting my spleen at the general lack of originality of the online gaming community as a whole. I personally would prefer if there were never any artificial constructs (such as guilds) in an online game.... i.e. no mails, inboxes, guild loyalty points, etc. etc. etc.

Guilds should be restricted to virtual 'in person' contact only...

I could go on for hours, but by the time the games developers implemented my ideas their profitability would be severely hamstrung...

Well i am enjoying this game. The atmosphere is great. It looks and sounds like a Skyrim to me.

Although yes, it's a typical MMO design, 3 months or so we'll all be bored most likely, but i am happy with 3 months. Most single players RPGs don't last that long with me anyhow.

So far the early access launch has been relatively smooth, i haven't had any issues and had very little bugs. There's also quite alot of players considering this is all pre-order players.

EU server was down for unscheduled maintenance for about an hour yesterday evening.

US one has been having maintenance today...

Anyone else experiencing some insane lag at the moment?

I was playing fine around 6pm, but tried to login now and initially got the "Unknown Error" message when trying login my character. I tried again and this time I got in, but I had such extreme lag I couldn't interact with any object. Anyone else experience something similar?

Having the same problem, reason for using proxy atm, and have 0 issues :)

Anyone else been experiencing lag in cyrodiil?

I can play in the normal world just fine but once I enter Cyrodiil I lag and have no idea why...

My ISP is telkom but when I ping to EU and US servers via pingtest I get <300 ms

Do you mind sharing what proxy you are using at the moment? I would love to be able to play whenever I want to. And with release tomorrow, I fear things are going to get much worse.

I'm not buying ESO because I think it's a rubbish MMO, but I did play the beta quite a bit. It's ridiculous how much Zenimax deprioritised our region. My UK VPN shot download speeds up to max and totally resolved any dodgy connections.

I've never come across a good free proxy or VPN service. Most are pretty cheap though, so just Google and take your pick.

Using Pingzapper.. and get 0 latency issues, feels like i am sitting right next to the server, ofc you can test it yourself before buying and see how it is. :)

If you decide to buy it don't forget to use me as a refer it will give myself and you some extra days.
