Sorry man but that is total misinformation right there. Even the papers got it wrong, or tried to make it look this way, but the DA did not win any significant votes in Khayelitsha. They won a ward that was half in Mitchell's Plain, half in Khayelitsha and they won almost exclusively through the coloured vote from the Plain. It was the same story as in a Gugulethu/Heideveld ward, all the papers came out saying the DA "won in Gugulethu" where they only got 79 votes out of 2200 in Gugs and won the ward from the voters in Heideveld (
http://www.iol.co.za/news/politics/gugulethu-voters-stick-with-anc-1.485460). The DA also has no Khayelitsha wards except the one that sits half in Mitchells Plain, Khayelitsha is still overwhelmingly ANC voting. Strange that you say you're in your local DA but you actually believe they control Khayelitsha or get significant votes from (black) shack dwellers? I guess you admit your plan is to "discourage your opposition through misinformation" so at least you're honest.
Unfortunately the DA have still made very little progress in the black townships. I think it'll only improve, but they really only won the Western Cape and any black areas through the coloured vote.
Actually I see it's worse than I thought, when the DA "won" that "Khayelitsha" ward, they got a grand 49 votes out of 2100 in the Khayelitsha polling stations, with the ANC taking virtually every other vote. From the IEC site. Looks like the misinformation campaign backfired on you, you ended up believing it yourself!
