And this is just Eslom's portion. doesn't the municaplities put in there portion as well for 'lack of' maintenance etc.. which still needs to be added in as well.

Last few years the increases were around 30%. Seems like they can just thumb suck a figure & then expect us to be happy.

Also, what they are saying is that we have had 3 consecutive years of 25% increase and 16% on that is just plain old mega-ouch!

And when I ask for a raise it's always pegged with CPIX +2(hehehe if they are generous) and yet NERSA and Eskom can get away with 4 X increases above CPIX for three consecutive years and now we must grateful they've lowered it to ~ 2 1/2 X above CPIX? Stuff them!!! Either way, we were shafted the past 2 years we will be shafted for years to come.
