Ellies inverter

Connect it to the mains? The screen you posted shows that there is no mains and the battery is flat? Could be why it's beeping.
 
Thanks for your reply. The inverter is connected to the mains yes and I have replaced the batteries also. So that is why I dont understand where the fault could be at.

It's clearly not detecting the input and I am slightly confused when you say it makes a beeping noise when the batteries are fully charged because there is no way its charging the battery without AC.

Do you have a multimeter? Which fuse did you replace?
 
After replacing the batteries, it worked, although the input is not working. It seems that the batteries are not charging and as soon as the new batteries ran off, it started to give a beep noise. I replaced the fuse at the back as I’m not aware of any other one. I do not have a multimeter.

Yeah, AC is not getting to where it's required, you will need to take it somewhere to get it repaired, call Ellies.

In the meanwhile get a charger to charge those batteries because they will also die if not charged.
 
Ellis 750W inverter connected as per instruction but once Escom went off there was no OUTPUT
 
Also just FYI as i forgot this thread existed:
I've put a Hubble S120 into my Ellies 720 trolley.
The battery fits in the standard trolley very snugly length wise. Height and width is more than enough space.
Took a while to fully charge it up on 10A but once charged, i have had no issues at all.
I haven't run it down to cut off yet but it gets through 4 hours with the TV, android box & internet running off it.

You should put a volt meter on it so you can stop when it gets to 12V.

Ah, it all makes sense now. :ROFL:

There are 2 modes, bypass and online, you probably had it on bypass, which disables the UPS mode. You don't have to do anything further. It will be automatic from now on.
 
Hoping someone can help, I have just installed my inverter and all appears to be working as it should, except, dispite having a TV, decoder, light and a router connected, load is showing as 0, any idea why? Power is most definitely off. 16664537957445638152944640241681.jpg
