All of these public projects seem to overshoot their targets by at least 2x. Same with Gautrain, Pebble bed reactor (thats at 4x I think). Stadiums will be the same.
Nobody in gov seems to be capable of managing money and/or budgeting.
I want to see how scope creep can end up costing nearly R100m for something like enatis?...
and hardware to the tune of R44m? thats mental...
4x (or whatever) is one hell of a budget screw-up...especially on a project/concept which a few European countries already dropped as unfeasible.
