England vs USA

england played well.

i think Capello will switch to 4-5-1 in the next match. He might bring either Gareth Barry or Michael Carrick to shield the back four giving Lamps and Gerrard freedom to roam free.

I think Joe Cole will start instead of James Milner.

Not that the result is that surprising, England simply have a mediocre team and it's a complete joke that some people are saying they're favourites. Amazing how the influence of the English media extends so far.
 
The Americans are getting better and better. Pretty soon, if not this year, then in 4 years time they'll whip Germany's butt (as they usually do in other things from 1918 onwards) and we'll see the new champs. The French, Brazilians, Italians and Argentinians will bow before USA. USA is prolly THE team for me to support outside our own and my gf's (Japan).

Must say when I saw Green's name on the team sheet my palm instinctively met my forehead as I was overwhelmed with exasperation. The guy is a disaster waiting to happen which I made clear before the game. Unfortunately I didn't put a wager on it so all I got in the end was a simple "I told you so". Damn.
