Do we need to open another transfer thread or is it ok with you guys if I post some transfer/rumours concerning serie a here??

All going to do the major deals and clubs.

Starting with my own side inter. Major news has been leonardo going to psg as their new sporting director with gasperini(former genoa) taking offer. Other news has been that we got viviano(second choice italian goalkeeper) in the co-ownership blind auction over the weekend. The auction happens if the 2 clubs can't agree on a fee. We actually should have lost him but bologna filled in their paperwork in correctly, they had bid €4.75 to our €4.1 but they only filled in the 50% price and not the full contract price. But he isn't likely to stay at inter, cesar is still better then him and he won't accept a bench role. Talk is going to genoa or roma.

Very close to signing nagatomo permanently from cesena after his loan spell last season, talking about €6.5 million.

Also reportedly very close to sealing a deal for jonathan from santos for €5.5 million. Have also reportedly put in a bid for ricky alvarez of velez sarsfield for €12 million.

Milan have signed Taye Taiwo and Phillipe Mexes on free transfer's . Also Stephan El Shaarawy on co-ownership from genoa.

Juve have replaced del nieri with antonio conte. They have signed pirlo from milan and ziegler from sampdoria. They have bought the other 50% of simone pepe, fabio quagliarela, marco motta and allesandro matri for a reported €44 million.

Roma have appointed luis enrique as their new manager.

Other major transfer was adrian mutu moving to cesena from fiorentina.

If you guys don't want this in this thread, I will open a new thread.

I don't know why there's an EPL specific one anyway, so feel free to post any interesting happenings in Italy. :)

Stefan any news on Sneijder to United? Or am I being very hopeful here?

The player has said he wants to stay at inter and the club has said they want to keep him. Of course if one of man utd, man city or chelsea ( the rumored clubs) come up with a crazy bid of €50 million + then things may change. But I don't think the club will sell for the reported €35 million offers.

Rumours coming out that Spurs have accepted an offer from United for Modric.

Criscito has joined Zenit St. Pietersburg from Genoa for €15 million euros.

Stephan Lichtsteiner underwent medical tests at juve.

According to mediaset inter have reached an agreement in principle for andrea poli of sampdoria.

Officially... 5 clubs have met the buyout clause for Neymar. Among the clubs mooted are Barca, Chelsea, Real and some Russian club I've never heard of in my life.

EDIT: Man City and Anzhi Makhachkala are the two clubs I couldn't remember. Sauce

Sauce is tribalfootball, but I did see it on various other more reputable sites (not that any site is reputable at this time of the year...). TF is the first link I found.

EDIT2: Apparently official sauce...

Pipe down you.

Barcelona want Cesc Fabregas to go on strike next week to force a cut-price move from Arsenal.

Not that I think it will happen, but if Arsenal allow themselves to be bullied by Barca over the Fabregas transfer, they're a disgrace. Wenger should tell Barcelona to go **** themselves, publicly demand a pledge of loyalty from Cesc, and threaten to make him play for the reserves if he doesn't start acting like an Arsenal player. If they let him go for anything short of 40m, they're idiots.

All the papers claiming Cesc wants to go. Cesc himself claiming his happy at Arsenal and the decision of him leaving is Arsene Wengers decision. Arsenal gave him first team appearances at 16, he would never have had that opportunity at Barca. Now, maybe.

I don't see a problem with Serie A transfers in this thread.

Look, if it's just paper talk, then no harm done. If the head honcho form Barca really did say that, then why isn;t there a flurry of excitement over it? EUFA don;t mind hardball tactics when ickle darling Barca do it? ****ing bastards.

As an aside, Santos chairman has confirmed Chelsea one of the five clubs to have met the asking price for Neymar. No sauce, just got it off twitter... will update as soon as I can.
