EPL 2011 Summer Transfers

Totally confusing reports now. Inter board member says he is definitely not going, but other sources say they are in "discussions" with Man utd and a deal is imminent.
 
Wish the transfer window was closed and we can get on with things...
 
Looks like Macheda tweeted saying Sneijder signed for United already...

Apparently he's putting up that stance for the media in order to maintain in the good graces of inter fans thus if a transfer does materialize it would seem inter chose to sell him

I'm just being extrememly hopeful here, but I doubt it will happen. Sneijder will have to be paid 250k a week, 30k more than what Rooney is currently earning.

EDIT: Not to mention that if we do buy him, we'll need a decent defensive mid to back him up.

Branca is hardly going to say we are definitly selling, would be a very poor negotiating tactic.

I believe sneijder could go but it depends whether fergie and man utd is willing to offer €45 - 50 million or not.

We will see.
 
Goal.com indicating that David Gilll has flown to Milan ,now unless he's just coincidentally going on holiday there I would think we better get the red carpet ready
