EPL 2011 Summer Transfers

No, he's not. However, I don't think he'd be suitable for an English team - but he would be beyond godlike at Barca or Real (maybe even Inter/Milan/Juve)

Pretty sure he will end up at real before the end of mercato.

First time I've read or seen a team outside of the big European leagues having that type of money to bid on a player. Interesting.

An Argentinian player in China is supposedly one of the highest paid players in the world I read recently

Wow you guys should seriously lighten up... stop trying to put down all United fans because of Arsenal's inability to do anything in the transfer market

Helghast is a Chelsea supporter.

Sanchez to barca is official, they paid €27 million upfront raising to €38 million with bonus. Overpaid imho, sanchez is a very good player but he only has one really great european season under his belt.

Vidal to juve is also nearly done for €10.5 million. Very good signing imho.

Capdevilla gone from Villareal to Benefica... looks like age is catching up to him.

In the other news Stekelenburg looks set to Join Roma

Roma signed bojan for €12 million, barca have a buyback option for €13 million.

I have a feeling he'll be good in England.
Aguero keen on City move
Highly-rated striker open to joining Premier League side

Sky Sports News sources understand striker Sergio Aguero has told Atletico Madrid that he wants to join Manchester City if they make a bid for his services.

The sought-after Argentina international has already confirmed his intention to depart the Vicente Calderon this summer.

City have made no secret of their desire to sign the talented 23-year-old, although they are yet to lodge an official offer.

It was reported by Sky Sports News on Thursday that the Premier League outfit are ready to enter formal talks with Atletico over the transfer of the striker.

And sources close to Aguero say he has informed the Primera Liga club he is keen on joining Roberto Mancini's side if they come knocking.

Mancini is eager to complete a swoop for the forward regardless of the outcome of the Carlos Tevez transfer saga this summer, with the striker's future still up in the air.
