ESET Internet Security - Outlook add-in issues

Hi Everyone,

Ive been using ESET Internet Security for years now, with no issues.

I have however started seeing some issues recently. Firstly, Outlook takes AGES to load the add-in. Secondly, Outlook keeps on running in the background if I close it, I have to close it in task manager if I want to open Outlook again.

Disabling the add-in (which was a flippen mission) resolved all these issues. I have tried removing and installing it again.

Anyone else having issues?
 
remove it with their removal tool and run an online repair on office before reinstalling it, restarts inbetween.

use scanost.exe / scanpst.exe to fix your email data file. its in the office folder. do this before reinstalling eset actually.

maybe it gets sorted.

Disabling it was definitely the answer, but I dont want to keep it that way.
