In PE that Stage 1 time slot is reserved for "Geysers"… which as first glance I have to admit I misread as geezers.

I do not want to be loadshedded when its not needed. Business need to be flexible and adjust as needed.

I do not think you understand the impact this on again off again crap has on a business, and its ability to plan production schedules etc etc.. as well as the potential risk to equipment.

I know of a laser cutting company that has had 2 machines broken due to load shedding and the subsequent spike, when it wasn't expected to happen and had only been announced like 30 minutes before.
 
I was recording Fast & Loud on Discovery channel now, and then loadshedding just started suddenly, I think my decoder might be screwed. :mad:

I wonder if Parliament gets load shedded. Don't think it will matter that much as they doing f0kk0l anyway.

Because we've been very lucky in the south peninsula. So far all our slots have been after 10pm or before 8am when they've haven't been shedding. In fact we're scheduled for 10:30 tonight but load shedding will be suspended at 10pm tonight. Tomorrow midday is our next slot.
 
Apparently not the Durbanville MacDs. Whoever answered the phone was quite offended by reaction that the owner is an idiot for not having a gennie...
