Eskom will implement continuous Stage 6 load-shedding this weekend

It's just pathetic, it really is. Now the weather improves a little, NOW suddenly the c**ts @ Eskom need to implement stage 6. What makes it even worse is that we should not be in this energy crisis mess if we had competent people in positions of power who aren't corrupt, and actually know how to do the jobs they're lucky enough to have been given on a silver platter and through nepotism.

Permanent Stage 6 load-shedding until further notice

Eskom has announced that it will implement permanent Stage 6 load-shedding over the coming weekend to replenish emergency reserves.

The power utility said the continuation of Stage 6 power cuts is necessary for it to reduce load-shedding to lower stages next week.
In a "strange" world, now with the Truck-Fires saga investigated, BOOM here goes Eskom again.

The almost 4GW increase in breakdowns is the real reason, they just using the cold as an excuse
I would call this a cascade of failures:

Since Sunday, Eskom has had to take 11 generating units offline due to breakdowns.

“A generating unit each at Grootvlei, Hendrina, Lethabo, Tutuka, two generating units at Arnot, Matla and three generating units at Kriel power stations have been taken out of service since Sunday,” it said.

I would call this a cascade of failures:

It's almost as if the power stations communicate with each other about their plans. See:
Synchronicity (German: Synchronizität) is a concept first introduced by analytical psychologist Carl G. Jung "to describe circumstances that appear meaningfully related yet lack a causal connection."
