Ethernet vs WiFi Speed Lost

Look how cute you look standing up for each other ;)

… because he has joined your cult ?

… because I tell it how it is and you don’t like that?

I’m sorry you get offended, your ego gets bruised and your knowledge is questioned. But that’s the way real life works

Can’t get offended when you are so busy crying with laughter at the weak trolling and ignorance.

It did? Weird way to see it. On a predominantly tech forum 40 people couldn't be arsed to use a cable.
Did you read some of the comments?
And some of the threads you tagged me on?

You look kinda foolish … especially posting decade old Steve Jobs videos to try gain support.

I’m sure I saw someone say you were as dense AF earlier today ?

Why do I need support? There are 6.8 billion smartphones in the world all running wifi. Case closed.

By some fool that thinks because something is gazetted all the zillions of Philips bulbs in the country will be destroyed. You think I care?

Read this as well.

89% are using WiFi 4 and 5 . They don’t break down further - but I can guarantee you that the majority are using WiFi 5 … which incidentally means in most cases Gbit.

*There are outliers - but generally 10/100 & WiFi 4 ; as well as Gbit & WiFi 5 go together

*and I’m sure you’ll use them to drive home a point
Confirmed. You did not read the study. They did break it down further:

Half (of the 89%) still use the old technology:
10/100 & WiFi 4

Let me play the Apple game :

Can you not read ?
44.2% is the majority ?
44.2 > 44 ? Right? Then add the almost 10% newer on WiFi 6? Was I wrong?

Sauron was actually wrong easier as he says most of these in the study are 10/100 ports … when clearly most actually Gbit by looking at your stats

And this whole survey process is wrong anyway ? And who says the stats are even accurate? You know there are cases where they have falsely marketed Gbit routers?

What you need to do is put down the Apple Koolaid and take off the Apple glasses - and read the thread slowly & carefully. Try be objective

Look at the point this thread changed direction. Look at what was said by who. Look at who pasted irrelevant links. Look at who doesn’t answer questions.

Let’s be honest - you’re not the sharpest . Outside of your comfort bubble, you need the help

Well he had a point . You quoted him and gave some irrelevant link

about this stuff are all on ISP issued routers with 100Mbit Ethernet links which likely means those stats are all bullshit.
Look @Charlesjjm !

Which Apple titan its right now because he never read the stats, says ISPs issue 10/100 routers and the stats are BS?

Then backpedaled by saying the issued 10/100 routers a decade ago and people still use them?

When found ‘someone he has to upgrade’ that kept their router in a box - and can’t answer anything more like ISP or brand ?

Then sends links to MWEB which show … nothing ?

So much deflection, so much Wow.

You’ve been absolutely wrong every step of the way like you always are…but in your typical stubborn fashion you just keep soldiering on.

You believe most people are using 802.11n ? Wow you guys are delusional

Yes…because it’s right there and you’ve just been acting like it’s not all along…or more likely just never saw it and kept arguing mindlessly as you always do.

Do you think this thread would even had a second glance if it said HP or Dell in the title ?
Or even WiFI in general ?

No - it wouldn't ...

But you read MacBook and you go into your Apple Mode ... survey wrong ! process wrong ! Dial up clients! 10/100 ports! False advertising! It's the same with the Apple keyboard thread - there was no issue until you read it and went into Apple Mode. You have got to relax with that Apple Mode and take a step back .

Life would be so much more peaceful if you weren't defending every.little.thing

Do you want me to quote you again and you can reply or back peddle or whatever it is you do ? Maybe ignore ?

Is there anyone else here that actually agrees with this?

What are you even talking about now? There is no Apple or MacBook anywhere close to the title.

Nobody ever said a word about anything Apple either, it’s literally (once again) all in your head and your own narrative.

I actually completely ignored this thread for days because I saw it for the bait that it was from the very first post and so did many others as it got ignored for ages.

To be honest, I have no idea what they're even arguing about anymore. This thread has drifted so far from the OP I'm totally lost.
It started because @SauRoNZA could not believe the article was accurate and the survey process was totally incorrect
