That's a weak set of criticisms, here I was expecting a full page paragraph. Nevertheless you make valid points, not everything he said or did was a good idea even in the slightest, however, what I noticed most importantly was that he would have liked white people to have their own tiny bit of land where they could be free from persecution to practice their culture and Christianity. How is it that someone who died over a decade ago, could foresee the current economic/cultural/etc problems we are now facing in South Africa in 2018??

yeah definitely wrong on that part. his panic and military training failed him. Might just be me but you sounds pretty chuffed about that part.

I'm in two minds about if a Afrikaner state is nessecery. I always support people that want self-rule or independence, but It is certainly not a place I would move to, and others that's seclusionist or separatists where more successful than Terreblance in establishing their own safehavens. He was a hypocrite at the end because his own black farm workers killed him. He didn't want to be a separatist, he just wanted to be the baas.

So how come they didn't go it alone when they where in charge and had the ability to make it happen? SA needs nothing short of a miracle at this point to get the economy back to where it should be. Not just the economy but basic services. The corruption was one thing before JZ but after he took power it's like it just spiraled horribly out of control. Now it seems there are just too many holes in the hull to plug.

BS it still exist the same in practice, that "abolishment" only mend that we now throw more tax money at the royals.
