Everyone here should know that Eugene Terblanche had some pretty extreme, far right views. While I am not an avid supporter of his (I was too young at the time), I can't help but watch this video and come to realise that almost all of his points are valid.

How is it that someone who died over a decade ago, could foresee the current economic/cultural/etc problems we are now facing in South Africa in 2018??

Almost every white South African foresaw a gloomy future for a black-led SA, what's so special or prophetic about Eugene?

It is easy to blame apartheid its easy to say it wasn't your fault but the facts is we are born here we are stuck with trying to make things better.

We could also recognise that inflicting negative consequences on someone for an event over which they had no power is fundamentally unfair... then we could emigrate. Which is what a lot of people are choosing to do.

I think perhaps it isn't so much a case of "now it's over it they want to take all their gains and go off somewhere without having to deal with the consequences of screwing over the majority of the country for 40 years" but instead that those white people alive today who had nothing to do with Apartheid don't want to bear the negative consequences.

I don't think anyone should be judged on the sins of their fathers.

If you had no say in Apartheid you shouldn't be forced to bear the negative consequences of it today through things like racial discrimination or land seizures.
