These included several bombings in Soweto, one at Jan Smuts Airport and one in downtown JHB. At least 20 people were killed in the attacks.
And then of course there was their ill-fated Bophuthatswana invasion, where they drove around shooting at random civilians.

No, the TRC could also grant exemption from future prosecution for acts disclosed. Nine AWB members were convicted, and 10 granted amnesty by the TRC - the nine plus one other.

Basically the same question can be applied to the ANC.
Mandela was on a USA terrorist list, for bombing innocents, iirc.
My position is that in order for any act to be considered self-defense you have to prove you were under immediate threat, and that the force used in the act of defending yourself was proportionate to the force used against you.
Enter a discussion of who fired the first shots, who's property were the people on at the time, is there a paper trail of attempts to engage the national government to co-operate on secession etc.
This is where I would tend to start on in attempting to answer the question you asked.
Forcing one's rule upon unwilling parties is crossing the line. Doesn't matter what your logo looks like or how you walk.

Well, you're effectively saying yes but no.
They were found guilty first of something.
Logically they would have no business excusing people who did nothing wrong.
