Hey everyone, hope I can get guidance here, as always. As some have seen, I'm busy with a new stock control setup for our busyness. I'm sure that with some guidance, I will be able to set this up. I'm battling a lot, with the settings etc. I started this process, with the promise of a friend to guide me, but yes, then that was just a promise. I want to explain my need, and thoughts, if someone have the time to pls just guide me, even just for a suggestion what to google search for. I'm willing to google, but don't alway know what to google for.

I have a lot of stock items, spices and marinades to be specific. There's a few hundred, so automatic processes will help a lot. Until I get a tablet/excel/onedrive to sync flawlessly, we will still take stock weekly by hand. That must be entered into the first spreadsheet, lets say this will be in column C. Column A will be the stock names, column B will be stock limits defined for each item. Then according to the stock limits, column D must be automatically calculated. I will then just review that quickly, and make changed where needed. I will have stock ordering sheets ready for each supplier, which will be automatically filled with the data in column D. In Column E, data will be entered as soon as stock arrives, using the invoices. Column F must check if stock ordered and stock received is the same. This far I will get the hang of it, as this is easy math.

But, this must be repeated weekly, and I need to keep the data for each week. So all the calculations from the stock taken, ordered, stock received, and stock checking must be repeated weekly. The stock ordering sheets must then also be updated every time with the data from the latest stock ordering date column, still the previous weeks' data must be available to be used.

I will expand the above as soon as I get this right, to be able to track product movement, control stock buying prices, use the data in product pricing, etc, etc.

Bottom line is, I need to be able to enter stock data weekly, ordering lists must be updated on latest stock and ordering entries. Pls If you maybe have a different suggestion, pls advise me. Stock control software like this costs a lot, and none of which I checked did what I need.

Hope someone will help?
