Excel prints to notepad

Hello all and thanks in advance for your help.
I have a problem when I want to print from SOME sheets in an excel workbook, to PDF.
For some unknown reason some of the sheets keeps on printing to notepad.
As I said, it's only in "some" sheets not all workbooks in excel.

Did you check the obvious things, which printer is selected, what is the default printer?

my 5 cents;

if it's Excel 2007 or 2010 don't use the "Print" command to create a PDF file, rather just 'save as" PDF.
And if it's Excel 2003 then download & install "CutePDF" and select it when printing.

Is the PDF printer selected in the printing options before selecting print?
