Exchange Foreign Currency

I visited Denmark and Thailand quite some time ago. Although I have not exchanged the currency back to South African Rand. It's been over two years now and wondered if I could exchange the currency now.

What are the rules/laws regarding this. Is this money useless to me now?

Any help with this would be great!!!

By law you have to exchange within a month, rather keep for your next travel or make a deal with a friend who is going that direction. After cost nothing will be left , probably cost your more in time and petroi

Standard Bank charges like 1.6% commission on conversion but minimum around R70 charge. Then I think there is admin fee on top...

Go to Rennies and try? Don't see this being a big deal seeing as its not alot of money.
