Experiencing a problem! Are you? (Telkom)

i've been struggling from the morning:( no work got done.
 
if it doesnt work in an hours time , i'll try Google DNS servers and see how that goes
 
Okay switched to Google DNS , pages loading quicker BUT still some websites not loading :confused:
 
Maybe try TI's south region DNS servers, I'm not experiencing any problems:

primary DNS address 196.43.54.190
secondary DNS address 196.43.38.190
 
Pages are loading quick but some websites still not loading, i'll just wait and see it its okay tomorrow

I'm having the same problem and I'm also on Telkom. My university webpage isn't opening, as well as a few other local sites.
Mybb and SAGamer are working fine.
International sites like Facebook, twitter, 9gag and PSN store are all working normally

I have been having issues from yesterday though
 
So its the network then, i hope they fix the issue soon :/
 
Today i'm having this issue where i cannot access some websites or the pages are loading extremely slow.

I did a speed test and its 1.75 (i'm on the 2mb line uncapped) so everythings fine with the speed.

i tried accessing my.unisa.ac.za and it says "The webpage is not available" and same with some other websites so then i tried on my mobile phone and same thing.

I then switched to my phones data and tried and it works!

So its the wifi/adsl issue, its strange because facebook.com , mybroadband etc works but slow.

any ideas?? i'm concerned more because i have stuff to submit online at myunisa

I can confirm that. Tried to open quite a few sites today and the spinner would just go without loading the page, also had issues with youtube where the spinner would just sit there and the video would never load. Tried different computers running windows or linux & same schite.

The problem is definitely with TI.

Is there anywhere to get an area status on Telkoms network? I'm in Durban. ADSL has been up and down the last 3 or so days - resorted to mobile data to post here. Does anyone from Telkom monitor these threads? Super frustrated!
 
Yes it's definitely frustrating, 5 mins ago it worked fine and then all of sudden started its **** again.

Im still waiting for the telkom rep to reply to my PM but nothing so far, it seems like a serious issue :/
