Exploiting the Customer - R767.49 for a Cable

It's silly when people go on about Android being insecure - the OS itself has the features just the vendors don't implement them properly. Go rage at them rather.

Although I do agree somewhat the reality is that in a pure comparison with Apple being both the vendor and the software owner they don’t have these problems.

So Android as a whole loses and is more exploitable.

Core and their "diagnostic" team are the largest bunch of unethical morons in SA.

Truly, they take bull**** business practices to new levels of madness.

Once had a new MacBook 12" with 2-3 dead pixels. Sent in for diagnostics (2 days old) they told me "we can't find a fault". (waited a week).

Used my own iPhone to record the pixels using test patterns, escalated to Apple US and very soon I had a new MacBook.

F#2$ing useless bunch of twats.

I look forward to the day their "premium reseller status" is revoked.

You're ****ting me - I just tossed a apple cable in the bin this week - someone left it at the house. I thought they cost about R50.

You threw away a cable… any cable? :wtf:

I buy volkano cables from musica. Less than R100.

If you have an iPhone 6+ consider buying a Qi charger & receiver.. costs R75 or so on GearBest.

iPhone 8 & X support this natively. Qi chargers cost R50 for the slow standard one which is as fast as the charger Apple gives you so won’t be wreaking battery.

If you want to see rip off pricing.. that same R50 Qi charger ive seen cost from 250-550 in SA!

Apple cables rip off globally(I don’t care if it’s environmentally friendly if I have to replace it every 2-3yrs).. Qi chargers = retail store rip off which is worse IMO.
