I have a react application with a express backend.
Locally its working fine but i have been struggling to get it to work on a2 hostings shared platform.

I setup a sub domain for my current domain

Transfered all the files over to the sub domain.
Went to setup nodejs
My application url is the sub domain.
i installed all the dependancies.

I tested my endpoints via postman but im not getting a relevant reply back what am i missing on the sub domain do i need to point records for it to work?

I mean yes you need to point records for it to work...otherwise how will it know where to go?

Hi Willie
Already did a build on the site i transfered the dst folder to the sub domain with the package.json and package lock.

Looks like the A record is pointing to the current main domain.

I got it working thx Willie was a few issues but the big one was i never chose a port on the HTACCESS file and i had a spelling mistake it wasnt dst folder it was dist.

But my end points are up and running
