External Hard Drive best place

Please can you tell me the best place in Gauteng to get a good (cheap) external hard drive. In the region of 1TB to 2TB price range not more then R1300. It must be Mac compatible. I would prefer an actual store rather then online store? It can run on USB or through a power source.

Or try Esquire - I think I saw a Freecom 2TB USB 3.0 for R1399 + VAT

I think that hifi corp has a 1Tb Toshiba for R999 and IIRC then its the same one that Incredible has for R1199

You will struggle to find 2TB +external for less than R1300. The 2TB drives retail at just above R1300 still.

Quite correct. Any external will work on your mac, trust me. And if its use is solely on a mac, then format HFS+. If it is intended to move between 'doze, *nix and mac go FAT bearing in mind file size limit.
