Harvard's Avi Loeb said the tiny metal fragments recovered from the Pacific Ocean originated outside our solar system - bringing him one step loser to proving his claim that they are from an alien craft.

Thing is though that IF any of this is actually true, it would be technology that we have no clue how to yield. It would be like giving an iphone to a caveman. This was a fascinating podcast. Bob Lazar has everything to lose with opening up to this. Thing is though that IF any of this is actually true, it would be technology that we have no clue how to yield. It would be like giving an iphone to a caveman. If these governments did have this tech, they'd for certain not share it. Hope in my lifetime I get to see it.

Lazar is a fascinating character, I have no doubt he DID work at Groom Lake, and he does believe what he says, my apprehension about his claims are, why would he specifically be tapped into such a secure program. What expertise in exotic propulsion does he bring (apart from jet powering a car and hydrogen powering a corvette) that doesn't scream "hey this guy might be able to help with figuring out electro gravitic propulsion"

I suspect the alien angle is a smokescreen cooked up by the US intelligence apparatus to distract everyone else from figuring out the science. Too many times people have claimed to be close to figuring out anti-gravity since the 50s, then just went silent.

If we remove all the science fiction from the story, we're left with black ops tech. And the US isn't the only one with it, China has some weird things happen in their airspace that quickly gets wiped from the internet. Only time will tell, what exactly these "unexplainable" stuff is.

I'm 99% certain we won't find intelligent life in our lifetimes. We are still generations away from developing tech that can overcome the problems posed by spacetime to the radio signals we send out, if even that is possible.

Even microbial life/bacteria seems pretty far away. It may require drilling deeply into Mars or one of Saturns moons.

At best, we might find planets very consistent with supporting life in our lifetimes, we are probably very close to that as they are already finding multiple "earth like" planets.

Finding actual alien life could be generations away.

Lets not forget the tons of dough he stand to make as a hetrodox, free thinking, conspiracy theorist with a podcast.

Anyone can spout theories and cast themselves as the selfless hero while providing no collaborating evidence. That he chooses to go on JR who has a clear bias towards elaborate conspiracies is in itself a red flag.

Natural science is based on observation. No scientific study, with integrity, concludes that a 90 degree turn at mach 2 is a fantasy if there's data to back it up. Getting around inertia for people inside the craft is immaterial. The craft could be unmanned for all we know.
