So i see they basically told you it is our ISP's fault diegoa,

Q u o t e:

| wbs-196-2-112-1.wbs.co.za - 2 | 84 | 83 | 31 | 53 | 110 | 31 |
| 192.168.0.97 - 2 | 84 | 83 | 31 | 45 | 187 | 31 |

Your connection is dropping packets from the outset, please contact your ISP.

Q u o t e:
| 41.0.4.225 - 0 | 83 | 83 | 31 | 48 | 125 | 47 |
| ge-6-4-581.car5.London1.Level3.net - 2 | 83 | 82 | 312 | 348 | 563 | 312 |

You are also losing packets between the jump of one peering partner to the next, due to your geographical location that is likely why there is a rise in latency, I would suggest that you talk to your provider. I will forward your information onto our network team.

Sucks to be in this situation you feel so helpless , no one really knowing what is wrong and everyone blaming a different party.

While I don't play directly on this connection (I make use of a SSH tunnel), here is something to compare with:

Tracing route to 80-239-180-117.customer.teliacarrier.com [80.239.180.117]

I don't think you can blame level3 for the latency jump, that just looks like the 1st international hop on the route out from Iburst to europe.

Now to give you a nicer example:

Iburst uses vodacom > Saix, which is similar to your first one. They use to have an option to MTNBusiness, but now that they not using it, im practically stuffed. It wasnt a good choice of them to do that tbh :(

Its normal for the tracert to die at telia, blizzard blocks icmp.

If the above is the case, it just means IS's links are maxed out at the normal times you want to play.
