F1 2008

hmmm so when u lose downforce u get a sudden injection of speed in dirty air while following a car?

interesting

You learn something new every day Killa... but seriously, do you honestly think anyone in the know is going to spin a story like that if they will obvioulsy be flamed by someone who knows better? And there are many engineers who would know you are speaking twang - not only in F1.

Such a failure would have robbed Hamilton’s car of not only downforce, but also drag, giving it an unexpected burst of acceleration, explaining the unlikely impact.

so then they should run this setup on tight tracks :)

would be nice following cars without drag ahahah

hey im a know all who knows fuq all :) but i try haha

The only way it would work is if you had a movable front wing attached to a button... the wing goes up, you lose drag, you accelerate, then it has to go back to maintain downforce so you can stay on track... which you need for corners and high speed straights...

Thinking of that prancing horse doing this down the straight - makes my eyes water with laughter :D
Neeeeiiighhh!

He is plrobably waiting for his signature to be worth a cut of the 4 Billion, to donate to charity of course :)

Those tracks are outdated by F1 safety standards and I think, from a cost perspective, the money will be better spent on an entirely new circuit. Also, Herman Tilke will design a pretty track, just for CT and for some reason, that gives FOM more of an incentive to take F1 to a new country.

What's wrong with Kayalami? Or even Welkom?

EAST LONDON FTW!!!
It's the only real GP track in the country :)
And the history here... where GP in South Africa has its roots ;)

And Mecedez as the track sponsors... we could do something awesome with it here. Anyone who follows the local leagues or has raced here will know what an awesome track we have.

Sorry to say now way will the East London circuit get anywhere near current standards required in F1, not without a shedload of investment.

Of course, and what with BEE and previously disadvantaged province on our side...
Lol.
Unfortunately PD referrs to individuals lol... not an entire province :p

Seems Ferrari is STILL leaking info, I wonder who they will blame this time.

Let's hope the FIA opt to look in Ferrari's own yard for the real culprit this time... and since it's become public knowlege, surely Ferrari can no longer take it as their own IP... who knows, maybe they want someone to take the bait lol.

Rumour has it that this is where Ferrari got the idea for the new nose from:

Not sure what you are saying... did he do badly? What were the times and fuel loads? So he has a bad car now... when did you change your mind about the car? You're obviously just a metrosexual kimi boi ;)
