F1 2012 thread

My prediction for the week-end:

1. Fernando Alonso
2. Kimi Raikkonen
3. Pastor Maldonado
4. Nico Rosberg
5. Romain Grosjean
6. Sebastian Vettel
7. Lewis Hamilton
8. Mark Webber
9. Michael Schumacher
10. Daniel Ricciardo
 
Grosjean is looking like the best bet. The clown has returned. From a race winning car to barely beating the HRTs then putting in the wall after ramming another car. Killa do you still think Maldonado is a great driver? :P
 
Fastest laps will have little to do with winning races this year given these tyres. He who spares wins. Whoever can make those tyres last will do it.
 
So why isnt Maldonado banned from F1 yet?

Maldonado intentionally and dangerously crashes his car into another car, because he's pissed off and has a history of doing it in the recent past.... 10 place grid penalty

Hamilton hasn't got sufficient fuel in Q3... 24 place grid drop

Crazy.

I never care about free practice, the point of it is to practice. Still a good driver. Are you telling me the top drivers have never made mistakes or done stupid things?

Shummi is back, wow what a lap. Fastest man at 40 is remarkable. May not have pole but he deserves pole unlike hamilton the last time out.

Whats wrong with the ham? We never saw him tearing up the track. Really odd.
 
Where's that Schumi hater now? The man still knows how to drive an F1 car!

Uuh that was last race :p Just making a comparison to show how silly the penalty for Maldo was.. he should have been disqualified from the race.
 
Why did pastor hit perez on purpose? Was there some issue or what? Doesn't look that bad on video. Perhaps just a driver error?

Cost perez in quali because the same side he was hit failed and put in the wall.

Who knows why, perhaps Sergio looked at him funny or something.

It was clearly deliberate though, Pastor had Sergio in his view the entire time, knew where he was and was well off the racing line. Looks like he tried to take off his FW.

Oh well, we have them both starting at the back of the grid this race.. Maldonado in 24th and Perez in 23rd. Lets see if Pastor takes them both out at the start or not. :D
