F1 2013 thread

I'd rather take one of the Toro Rosso drivers. They're younger than Kimi and both are clearly fast (Toro Rosso have become an upper midfield runner). Kimi has a small window to work with at 33 while JEV and Ricciardo have time on their side. Also, Red Bull won't manage two Alpha drivers. Not with Vettel's ego.

That's so true, was also thinking of Kimi as a replacement. But didn't know that he is 33. Must say that Ricardo is driving quite nicely nowadays and with them being the sister team, sure they won't have many issues with it

Hamilton was supposed to sign with RB for this year, but that didn't quite happen. So RB very well could take on the likes of Kimi. He still has at least 3 good seasons left in him. But with the advent of Lotus signing on new partners (35% of the company), they might have the funding now to be more competitive. Lets face it Renault have a good engine!

Actually he was suppose to sign with them in 2015 when vettel moves to ferrari. Vettel would love an equal to race. redbull won't allow them though like mercedes. Let's be honest there are only two drivers who could actually do as well as vettel in the same car. Hamilton and alonso. He world class and one of the f1 drivers, you cannot keep claiming the car is better than everyone else. Riccardo would be an obvious replacement for webber next season i would imagine. Kimi is only 33, webber is 36 driving for a massive team. kimi has a few more years in him. You do not win 3 titles in a row and look set for a 4th one because you are driving a superior car, he is making the car look more superior than it is.

God. These Supersport presenters are useless. They spoil the entire race with their uninformed babble. I actually turn the volume down until the race coverage starts.

Sebastian 'Vettle' pops up on the trivia box.

They say the accident in the GP3 Race was caused by him missing his braking point, but the accident happened on acceleration out of the corner because the front driver had oversteer on the exit.

"At Silverstone, any driver who makes a mistake on any of these corners may create an opportunity for the driver behind to overtake." REALLY?!

If you actually listen to what they are saying, They just babble about stuff they know nothing about. Very irritating.

Edit: OMG Lewis.

Yeah. I also suspect sabotage. Screwed up my Superbru picks though. :wtf:

I still say they should have 3 tyre manufacturers and allow teams to change once in a season.

Edit: I'm not saying what happened today is Pirelli's fault.

Nice double stop by Force India. Really good up and coming team I reckon.

And I think Pirelli is done. Too many problems through the season.
