In all fairness do they have the same sort of setup the bigger teams have? Do they have the systems to ensure they can design the right car?

Rather a poor design than a car that catches on fire :D and they have mega bucks backing them haha.

As long as I can't see them, all is good. It has been probably the worst thing I've seen in many years done to a F1 car and there have been a few atrocious designs.

Don't be fooled by pre season testing. Means nothing. They are ensuring their cars don't burn and have brake failures. Nothing more than testing. I will read more into the situation when the 1st practice begins and the first quali is over.

Nope hating it actually, i want to see merc do well. I want to see 6 or 7 teams pushing for victories.

I want rosberg and hamilton to have a show down, i want hamilton on pole winning races. I may not have a liking for the ham but i love f1 and i want to see lots of teams capable of pushing for victories, poles and upsets. If hamilton won the championship i would not mind. Tired of seeing vettel dominate the field year after year after year.

...and Rosberg had electrical issues today too... they both only covered 15 laps a piece and it's canned for Merc for the rest of the day.

Merc is struggling for reliability. Not a good sign - and I don't get why - they shouldn't be short of really good propeller heads... but as Hamilton said - rather now than at Barcelona.

You're confused... Electrical issue for Rosberg on day 1, brakes for Hamilton yesterday. Today seems to be going fine.
