Look at the Todt tenure and compare with Domenicali, its like cheese and chalk. The only thing he won was a constructors championship in 2008 which in essence was a spill over of Todt's 2007 work where Kimi took the title and Ferrari won constructors.

2012 was more successful than any other year with 2nd but overall in his tenure imo he was a failure - one expects much better from a team having been longest in the sport and a huge budget.

The big difference is that Todt had Rory Byrne, Ross Brawn and Michael Schumacher at his disposal... ergo it wasn't one man's victory or failure, but a team thing. Ferrari effed up.

Stefano Domenicali fell on his sword voluntarily before he was pushed. He knew he couldn't get the **** to shine. There are more problems in Ferrari than it's F1 Team Manager.

Todt, Byrne, Brawn and Schumacher. Now that was a TEAM. When they left it all fell apart. And Montezemelo sticking his not inconsiderable patrician nose in every few weeks, firing off his shotgun and then retreating doesn't help at all either.
 
F1 Drivers who've been booed on podiums by crowds that I can remember:

- Michael Schumacher
- Sebastian Vettel
- Nico Rosberg

They are all German Drivers (OK, Rosberg maybe debatable, but he has the German flag flying behind him on the podium).

Heard an interesting stat over the weekend while watching Saturday's FP3. The Italian GP has been won more times from pole than Monaco (in the last 14 races), making it statistically more important to qualify 1st than at the Principality. I found that fascinating, but it makes sense when you consider how difficult it is to actually overtake (although there seemed to be good amounts of it going on this weekend) with those skinny rear wings.

Must say, I also thought that the top speed recorded down the straight was 'only' 354km/h (by Hamilton I think). I thought it would've been over 360km/h.

Maybe not, but those guys all used questionable tactics to win races. They upset fans, many of whom had been behind them, then turned on them when they started fighting dirty. Fans aren't stupid.

Look at Massa's podium behaviour in Brazil in 2008 when he lost the world championship by a point to Hamilton. His taking it on the chin and his grace in defeat on that day is a lesson to all sportsmen and one of the reasons he is still well-liked by most in the F1 paddock today. He got a big cheer yesterday because the tifosi remembered what he did for them, for Ferrari and for Schumacher (and Kimi, and Alonso).

Rosberg got booed (again) because of what he did for himself. Just like Vettel (multi-21,) and schumi (Jerez 1997, Adelaide 1994, Monaco 2006).
 
Think RIC had the top speed at the end clocking 362 if I remember correctly. No clue how he got to that speed...

Ah, and this from the Renault unit which has been slated the whole season for being down on power.
 
Eeeh, I don't give two hoots about booing, that's post race on track emotions, after a few hours its all forgotten.

What matters is that Rosberg is still on top, and Lewis is not :D
 
Frankly I'd be overjoyed if Ricciardo came though and took the WDC from both of them! Just like Kimi did to Lewis and Fernando in 2007.
