HAAS may withdraw from lack of sponsorship and a controversial driver.
And next year they will return as Andretti F1 Motorsport.
They've already said that financially they're sound. Nothing to worry about.

But can Mazepin and his backers keep their financial commitments to Haas?
I didn't see anything about sponsors on their points they vetted, but would Haas, an American company and F1 team, actually want this sort of sponsorship?
They wouldn't be able to use the current red/white/blue of the Russian flag anymore, so for the most part there goes their colour scheme. MAYBE the colours on their racing/engineering team overalls too.

Motorsport UK bans Russian drivers

While the FIA allows Russian drivers to continue racing, albeit under a neutral flag, Motorsport UK, the governing body for four-wheel motorsport in the UK, has banned all Russian competitors.

David Richards, Chair of Motorsport UK, along with the Board of the organisation, have considered the appropriate response to the ongoing acts of war and aggression conducted in Ukraine by Russia and Belarus.

"The entire Motorsport UK community condemns the acts of war by Russia and Belarus in Ukraine and expresses its solidarity and support towards all those affected by the ongoing conflict," said Richards.

"We stand united with the people of Ukraine and the motorsport community following the invasion and the unacceptable actions that have unfolded. This is a time for the international motorsport community to act and show support for the people of Ukraine and our colleagues at the Federation Automobile d'Ukraine (FAU)."

Aston Martin looking at developing their own engine for 2026. Which would be interesting considering they use the Merc V8 in some of their road cars. I wonder what the repercussions would be for that (if there would be).

Red Bull principal Christian Horner said his team was alone in expressing support for Michael Masi, which he found disappointing.
Ultimately the decision was made to restructure Race Control, but there was no place for Masi in the new two-person rotating setup, a decision which Red Bull’s Max Verstappen has heavily criticised.

And the same is true for Horner, who said that at the meeting between the FIA and the teams in London, where the findings of the Abu Dhabi inquiry were discussed, he was the only representative that was advocating in Masi’s favour.

I am confident Ferrari will be a contender for WC this year.

Red Bull principal Christian Horner said his team was alone in expressing support for Michael Masi, which he found disappointing.
What a shock, it is very strange that only Red Bull supported him, what did they gain that no other team did?:rolleyes::mad:

Let's get on with 2022 please and stop rubbing it in.
