Maybe...it depends on which team decides to moan to the FIA and take away that advantage (ala Ferrari in 2019 when Vettel's championship push effectively evaporated).Charles only used 7th down the main straight and then only 8th when he had DRS after turn 1/2. 7th against Max!
They may just obliterate this year's championships ...

I'm wondering if seasonal rule changes are the best way for the bosses to spice up F1? Seems counter productive most of the time. Not to mention exceedingly challenging for manufacturers to comply.
...and refueling. Was always awesome to see the various strategies that cropped up.I think they need to reward more aggressive driving. The tyres degradation is a problem in my mind.
I'd say make the tyres last so you can drive them hard without losing performance, and then force you to use all 3 tyre types in the race (ie. at least 2 stops).
Cars backing off because of the tyres is what makes the race go into "holding position" until the last 10 laps.
Yea, that stuff was lit....and refueling. Was always awesome to see the various strategies that cropped up.
How can you have tyres that don't lose performance while mandating multiple tyre compounds? You'll end up with all teams running the fastest tyre for the whole race except for a single lap done on each of the slow compounds to satisfy the rules.I think they need to reward more aggressive driving. The tyres degradation is a problem in my mind.
