I wonder if Toto checks under his bed before he goes to bed to see if Masi is waiting for him, as he has had another go at him.

Wolff revealed he spoke to Masi before the event about the feedback he’d been given over several controversial decisions earlier in the year.

“I had lunch with him on the Wednesday before the race,” Wolff told the Press Association, “and I said to him that ‘I really want to tell you, without patronising you, that you need to take criticism on board and develop from there. Lewis does it every day, but you are a guy who always seems to know better’.

“It wasn’t about influencing him but really giving my honest feedback that he shouldn’t block outside opinion as simply being wrong.”

Masi, who has not spoken publicly since the controversial conclusion to last season almost four months ago, had been criticised for his handling of several flashpoints in the rivalry between Hamilton and Verstappen at preceding races in Saudi Arabia and Brazil. Wolff said drivers were not impressed by his reaction to their feedback.

Curiously, Toto says Masi was trying to make everything about himself yet Masi has not once got to the press and Toto himself is the one that repeatedly brings Masi and Abu Dhabi up.

He should've just left the guy alone, he probably pissed the oke off to no end, and then he wonders why the guy handed the championship to Max.

For me, and I mentioned it last year as well, the team bosses appeared to have far too much access to race direction and that isn't a good thing. It almost certainly would've had an impact on decision-making, good or bad.

YET, and this is a big YET, if that whole race had gone Merc's way old Toto would have been singing his praises from every rooftop.

It didn't, therefore Masi was a liability and disrespectful. Old Toto forgets that he also twisted Masi's arm a number of times for incidents that went the way of Merc. Disingenuous prat.
 
Fok kit I just ordered sky. Had crap with the android TV f1tv app again over the weekend.

Expensive way to buy convenience :/

But also became necessary with the dstv streaming limitations.
