Just reviewed onboard. Charles appears to have binned it but that Ferrari refused to reverse out of the barriers. He got it into reverse but it just would not throttle on to get out. Then when the marshals pushed it out of the barriers it came out without any issue so it wasn't stuck in there. So, why wouldn't the engine let him reverse out and could there be a throttle link to the actual accident?

George, while being a real baby on the radio, did a proper move on Perez at the VSC end which was super smart.

Ferrari pitwall had another shocker again.

Loser of the day: Paul Di Resta for shouting at either David Coulthard or Max Verstappen with his mic still hot "Stop Talking!"

ol' Paul is a bit of a prick, if it was up to me I would rather have Nico Rosberg at the pits and ol' Paul via Zoom.

edit:

I reckon Paul will be more suited at Angela Cullen's job

Speaking of Nico. Every time they crossed to him during the race, he sniffed at the end of his talking. They also mentioned he is in Ibiza. Bit of Colombian Flu perhaps....

Clearly I'm missing out on a Sky commentary shitshow. What is this about?

Could be some Colombian Flu, yet he still talks more sense and unbias then the Sky crew.

During the end of race driver interviews, David Coulthard was interviewing Max and during the 3rd question, Paul, who was in place of Brundle for this race, was clearly heard saying "Stop Talking" live on air as his mic was still hot.

Nico is banned from the paddock because he won't get vaccinated.

And jesus ferrari....

sounds like a convenient excuse to me:

"A statement from the FIA said: “A second VSC ending message was sent due to a hardware issue, which led to an automated switch to backup systems that worked exactly as they should in that scenario.

“The same information is supplied to all teams concurrently. The VSC ending countdown time to the green light being displayed on the trackside panels is always random.”"
