Personally, I would bring in Mick to Merc for one year to fill the gap until 2026. Toto is fully in rebuilding phase for 26, so he can probably let one year go without worrying too much about results.

Bring Kimi into Williams or use him as reserve driver. This way Toto can see how the market plays out next year in his attempt to lure Max to Merc for 2026.

If he can't lure him then he would have seen if Mick truly has anything or not and whether Kimi is ready for a Merc seat.
Gambling with Mick jeopardises the constructors. Would Toto really be willing to risk team points just to see if Mick has it or not? At the top end you want known quantities, and take chances with the sister teams.

Mick will probably get the other Williams seat, and Sainz may very well take the one year Merc deal when he realises that he doesn't have many options...

Mick being spoken about as an Alpine option. Both drivers are out of contract next year and he (Mick) is a member of the Alpine WEC team and is apparently very quick there. Alpine in my opinion would be a good option for him. They are very much a midfield team at the moment and it would be a relatively low pressure environment for him to work. A year or two of performing well would stand him in good stead down the line.

Mick is German so Merc would want to keep him in their stable. Or he may find himself at Audi if Sainz doesn't act soon. Nationality is a thing with ze Germans...

They do have Hulk, and he is german. Both drivers don't need to be german.

I watched Jolyon Palmer's Monaco review last night. I can now see why the Perez/KMag incident wasn't taken further.

Perez knew KMag was there and kept checking his right mirror while still closing the gap to the barriers. An overhead shot just before the contact showed that some cars ahead of Perez had taken a line up the hill more mid track - this line would've left space and prevented KMag from being pinched.

I was convinced that was all on KMag, but now I'm putting it a 60-40 to KMag. Also makes sense why Horner wasn't more vocally upset with KMag and the stewards

Then that have a damn good engineer.
Just don't let him lead the strategy team he was out of his depth after ferrari promoted him.
Next step should be to replace Daddys Boy with a real F1 driver.
I still think they were hardly incompetent on the bad strategy calls and Ferrari should’ve given him one year but their loss is AM’s gain if true.

Well you can only see the success of a team boss a year after he started as everything is planned well in advanced.
Fred is showing it now what a big difference he made.
Thoughts and prayers to AM
