Are you suggesting the OP has a problem with premature exclamation?

I've seen research that suggested pompous people has that issue, but it wasn't definitive.

Timing seemed ok. The thread was opened with 2024 tyre compound news. Seems as good a reason as any to open a new thread *shrug*

The rules are and have been so for years - the new thread only gets created after the final race. Why back in my day I had threads deleted because they were a couple of hours early

Back in your day threads were things your wife would darn your clothes with by candlelight while your kids put the cows in the barn.

Thanks to ESKOM my wife still darns my clothes with threads by candle light but we can no longer afford the Kids or the Cows. ;) :sneaky:

Checo won't make it to race 10 next year. Lawson will step in.
Max will win the championship, but it will go down to one of the last races of the season.
Team LH will implode from Russell consistently finishing ahead of Lewis.
Charles will finally find some luck and give Max a good run throughout the year.
Red Bull will dominate in Singapore.

And potentially the silliest silly season for a while. More than half of the grid's contracts expire at the end of 2024. Who will leave F1 - a few candidates come to mind.

Probably Piastri, he is super aggressive. I don't think Lando has the aggression needed to win a race. Lando might get lucky if some frontrunners take each other out.

Yip, he needs to man up !
Piastri already got the sprint win under the belt, so yeh, ( hate to say it) but I think he will get Macca's 1st race win in a while as well...

A long December and January ahead.
Kinda like these race packed seasons at least the wait is shorter.

Lies, Stroll never paid a cent...

If rumours are true that sprint races will be changed to Sprint race on Saturday followed by qauli for Sunday, I think many teams will not be happy. If you damage a car during the sprint race, you might as well know that you will start at the back on Sunday.

It will give drivers less motivation to drive aggressively and might actually make the sprint quite boring?

Is the FIA and F1 trying to kill off F1? Better weekend management is needed. Something like FP1 and FP2 on Friday, Sprint Quali and Sprint Race in Saturday, with Race Quali and Race on Sunday. Or do the race quali before the sprint race.
