Yeah if it's just that then he's in the clear.

It's a high performance sport with no room for error. Not for pansies who want to cry about getting their feelings hurt...
I'd just add that external parties holding hearings are generally reserved for more serious transgressions.

Newest rumors suggest this is part of the internal power struggle between Horner and Marko.
Anyway, as of yet nothing said about police investigations, so probably just some millennial's feeling that got hurt.

Apparently it involves the sending of photos. If so, should be fairly clear cut.

this Cristina Horner thing is just a marketing stunt.

too much media attention on LH Ferrari move. so RB PR team is pulling a stunt like this.
its going to be some massively polarizing statement that is going to aim to anger some fans and bring the more toxic fans closer.
so you are going to hear things like "woke" being used to try and victims blame. and then nothing is going to come off it (it is a PR stunt after all)

so my bet is accused of Sexual misconduct
cleared of Wrongdoing
person who "made the accusation" is going to be let go.
people are going to claim she was just being "woke"
this is going to increase support for Horner/RB/Verstoppen because they will be seen as "anti woke" and that kind of narrow minded vision is what they want in the fan base.

**side note
"being woke" is used as an insult by people who are working to control a narrative and never by people fighting for real change. and this is from the people being woke as well as the people accusing others of being "woke". when you come across the term being used pay close attention to what is being said and what is being implied. if the term is used to be dismissive of change being brought in, then the person being dismissive is not worthy of an opinion. if it is being used to attempt to make a change then the person attempting to make change is not worthy of an opinion.
Examples:
"We cant change from Fossil fuel to alternative energy because that is giving in to the woke left" = dismissive and not worth an opinion
"we have to let the people protest and express themselves because it is the woke thing to do" = using it as an excuse and not worth an opinion.

Examples of the same statement without hiding being "woke"
"we cant change from Fossil Fuel because the Energy storage capability is not sustainable yet, more research is required"
"the people have a right to protest, and after the demands were ignored I can understand the increase in action, but I do not condone the looting"

Nah,. that's one of the bullshittest posts I've ever read of yours. Yes, I agree "woke" can be used as an insult. At times, rightly so.

"We should let parents and doctors mutilate 4 year olds." - "Woke" sentiment, don't agree at all, it's disgusting.

"There should be more women in sport." - "Woke" sentiment, agree, people should be there on merit, regardless of gender, race etc.

Not all change is good change, that's a trap.

As for F1, I doubt this is a PR stunt. We don't yet know the allegations, but if they're sexual in nature, that stays with you even if vindicated. If it's purely managerial then he'll be okay. Unless he is gulty and it's serious in which case he won't, and rightfully so.

while both of your statements are valid examples of a woke statement, neither used "woke" in the statement.

I am not talking about the statement being made, I am talking about the response to the statement.
and I also agree some "woke" sentiments should be disregarded. but its in how it is done. dismiss the sentiment on merit and its fine. dismiss it simply for being "woke" and it is a problem.

as for the PR stunt, I did initially feel that there was a great potential the news about LH moving to Ferrari was also just PR stunt.
maybe I am just too jaded and I feel like anything and everything done lately is done as a PR stunt. the success of Prime and its viral marketing off the hate it received and the ability to leverage that hate in the mind of teenagers who are always looking to fight authority made me think too much about how subtle little PR stunts can have a big impact. but that is not a topic for this discussion

Knows all the facts and found Horner guilty already and also know that RB will wipe it under the carpet.
This thread is better than DTS

Apologies, just arrived, TL;DR
In 20 words or less what is happening?
Ive missed something about Horner
Thank you

Horner naughty. Big investigate. Maybe troubles. Don't be a wokey. Hamilton wins 8th WDC with Ferrari.
Wow, thanx for that. LOL Lewis wins 8th. I mean I would love to see this happen, in a Merc before he leaves. I will go google and see what naughty horner is up to.

If that's the case it should be easy to prove, and he'll probably be out.

Man this F1 season is this crazy and we are not even at the first race yet.

The ramifications of a Horner being let go would be huge. Max probably would start looking around if Horner is not there anymore. What massive impact could that not have on the team as a whole for 24?

Ja hell just look at the k@k WWE has been going through due to Vince Mcmahon's situation.

I really hope he wasn't stupid enough to send d1ck pics to someone...

I've been reading the same. Shades of what happened to Ferrari if true.

At the peak of their powers in the 2000s, Todt and di Montezemolo engaged in a power struggle. Di Montezemolo had come to resent the amount of influence Todt was starting to have within Ferrari following the F1 successes. This ultimately came to a head with Todt wanting to retain Michael as lead driver beyond 2006 and di Montezemolo wanting to go with Kimi. Di Montezemolo won and within two years Michael had retired, Ross Brawn went on sabbatical and Todt ultimately resigned, so beginning Ferrari's decline.

Yeah it seems there is a power struggle between the English and Austrian parts of RB. If true, Horner and Newey might leave. Max might follow suit in 2025 unless he is part of the power struggle...
