but if they're sexual in nature, that stays with you even if vindicated. If it's purely managerial then he'll be okay. Unless he is gulty and it's serious in which case he won't, and rightfully so.

I've been reading the same. Shades of what happened to Ferrari if true.
At the peak of their powers in the 2000s, Todt and di Montezemolo engaged in a power struggle. Di Montezemolo had come to resent the amount of influence Todt was starting to have within Ferrari following the F1 successes. This ultimately came to a head with Todt wanting to retain Michael as lead driver beyond 2006 and di Montezemolo wanting to go with Kimi. Di Montezemolo won and within two years Michael had retired, Ross Brawn went on sabbatical and Todt ultimately resigned, so beginning Ferrari's decline.
