Australia in never boring :D
What a race, and that result is from the good old days of Ferrari vs McLaren.
No Idea what is happening at Mercedes this year but at the moment I think they are racing Haas for last place

Nah, the good ol days had attacking.

I'm still expecting the FIA to disqualify Carlos due to being underweight, because the team forgot to factor in the appendix in their ballast calculation

Wow, lots of things to mention to this race. Very briefly:
- Max DNF, 42 race finishes on the trot comes to an end. F1 needed this.
- Not just Max, but Red Bull pace. It is surprising how far back Checo ended. He mentioned after the race, that he thought that even with Max in it, the Ferraris would have won it. Max alluded to similar earlier.
- Did the Red Bull team get things wrong e.g. Checo's penalty and the set up.
- Brilliant smooth operator, what a weekend for him!
- How well the McClarens kept up with the Ferraris.
- Where has the Mercs gone to.
- Heart break for Williams to miss out on a point.
- Double points for Haas, nice.
- Yuki over Ricciardo. In qualy and the race. Is Ricciardo's career done?
- Drivers only had 2 sets of hards for the weekend, and had to use both in the race, so no prep work. Weird!

This.

I have also started to wonder now if Max has the will or interest to match Hamilton and Schumi. Burnout for him will also be very real considering how long he started out.

There comes a point where everyone realizes that there is more to life than work and Max may be at that point now.

Guys like Hamilton and Alonso seem like they are in it for the long-haul. I can see Hamilton going for another five years and Alonso will probably only leave when he has no other choice.
Jeepers okes. One DNF and Max is retiring?

Stick to a sport you know, bud

He’s the most entertaining driver on the grid, period.
He really isn't though. He used to be and he has his moments. I like the guy. But he's not an especially good driver, never has been, and he isn't on form at all right now. He's just a place-holder now, much like Sargeant.
