DOTD is lewis or max ..more max for me from 4th to 3rd to 5th to 2nd .....and making good calls

but lewis well for winning

hulk also did very well
Hulk scoring two races in a row, just awesome.

He's scored more points in the last 2 races than Perez has in the last 6 and he's doing it in a HAAS. Now that's some context on Perez performances.

yuki must get a chance in the rb seat ..not ric

ric is useless and only good for marketing ..rb want that though

So Oscar was just about keeping up with Max
He was. After final round of pits, he was 11s or so behind Max. End of the race, a shave under 11s behind Max. He was matching Max's pace lap for lap with the mediums, and to only be 11s behind after that botched extra lap on dry tyres, quite a performance now looking at it. Just shows how daft it was to give Lando the softs indeed.

lando chose based on lewis iirc

SO the conclusion is, if Lando put on mediums he could do same pace as Max and would have had an easy win?

lando chose based on lewis iirc
Which was rookie mistake if ever saw one. He needed to pick based on what was best for him and that Mclaren sucks on softs, was a bad choice all day long, as evidenced by Piastri's comparative pace on mediums in the other Mclaren. Lando even acknowledged the mistake afterwards.

The Merc by contrast has been strong on softs numerous times this season, a strength for them, especially at the lower temps. Softs for Lando and his Mclaren was never the right call, playing right into both Lewis and Max's hands instead of picking the superior tyre for his own machine.

Right now, my big concern about Lando is that it appears he may not be great at acknowledging his own mistakes, got vibe he was blaming Mclaren for those softs, when he made the choice, not the team. To get better, he's going to need to acknowledge when he makes mistakes like these so he learns from them.

yeah he thought he can chase ...but we saw that didnt work

but they will learn

i just think norris is a good racer only cause the mclarens are very fast

max on the other hand is a great race and has tons of experience

So it wasn't one of Max's greatest races then... you agree?
I am still waiting for you to explain if the same circumstances that made it not a great race for Max is also applicable to Hamilton who he only finished 1.4s behind.
Once you have answered that question that I have asked you 3 times, you can start asking me questions.

OK now you can go on your next rant and diversion without answering again.

Still a team screwup. Driver should not be in a position to choose compounds, he doesn't have access to the data...
We say that, but in the same breath we applaud Max, Lewis and other drivers like Sainz for doing just that, taking control, knowing how to read the track, the conditions?

Lando has had over 100 races now, data is one thing, but nothing beats having the feel of the car, on the track. Lewis made calls. Max made calls. Sainz made calls. To say the problem here is Mclaren allowing driver feedback when we praise it elsewhere, a bit of a double standard no?

You not one to score well on comprehension tests are you? I've made a few points on the very subject already. You have no interest in a F1 discussion, simply want to vent hatred of a specific driver, regardless of context or detail.
You've not once acknowledged Lewis' win, instead made a post about it being one of Max's greatest races.
You don't support Max, you simply hate Lewis, in your head, rent free. Let it go mate, for your own health.

Max didn't choose the compound. He chose when to pit, that's a fair call for the driver to make...

I didnt say anything untoward of Max. I didnt say he was ****, or rubbish or anything. I simply said I dont agree was one of his greatest ever performances.

You been going on, ranting about Lewis ever since, but nowhere have I seen anybody say it was one of Lewis greatest races ever, the general feedback has been he was 'solid' and folks happy he got a win, got the monkey off his back.

That you cannot have a simple discussion about Max's performance without dragging Lewis into the conversation on a negative reason speaks volumes mate.

Was Lewis solid, I think so, was it one of his greatest races, no, but then, nobody has been saying that and, like I said in my 1st post, I do think Max was solid/ good, but again, not one of his greatest.
