So VW basically trying to recoup the $$& spent while they cut their workforce. I wonder if they’re going to continue with their powertrain…

Relying on the race director's leniency imho. Rules do state that drivers conduct in the pit exit cannot be in a manner that is potentially dangerous. Doesn't take much for that to become an incident.

Tommo on Youtube did a great video on if LH was past his prime or not.
and I kind of agree with his take.

is he past his best, yes. age plays a factor.
does that mean he wont ever be world champion again? no. he could for all we know really gel at Ferrari and lead the team to a few glory years, we cannot possibly know.

what we can say for 100% sure is there has been very few races this year where BOTH Merc drivers were comfortable with the car and managed to extract the best out of it.
we can also see based on the results that LH is being left out of some parts of development, but that is expected when we know he left the team to a direct competitor.

what I am seeing is that George is proving to be a very underrated driver, he is performing better than LH, and statistically LH is the best ever.
