Fastes Car argument is a moot point.
the 2007 Mclaren was not the best car on the gird, that was the Ferrari. Alonso and Hamilton showed their skill to get the wins, and either of them could have been world champion if Alonso wasnt being a prat to try and stop HAM from winning that year.
2008 was again the ferrari was by far the best car. and Massa should have won it comfortably, but then Ferrari did a ferrari and killed his chances gifting HAM the championship that he won based on his driver skill.
2009 the car got better, after the teams figured out what BRAWN did to the car, but again Mclaren and Ferrari were neck and neck in the last part of the season.
2010 Red Bull dominated, but Mclaren were fighting but could not catch it.
2011 REd Bull dominated and Both Mclaren and Ferrari fought but could not match.
2012 was a super close year cold have gone to any of 6 drivers at one point in the season. eventually Seb took the win but it was close.
2013 was again close between Seb and alonso in the ferrari the Merc and Mclaren were fighting but not really.
2014 the Merc engine gave them the title not just on performance but also on reliability, HAM took it over Rosberg because of skill.
2015 again Close between Merc and Ferrari and even Red bull, but the Renault Engine killed the Red bull chances and consistancy gave HAM the win over Ros
2016 there was no contest the Merc's were clearly ahead of the field. Ros had a few bits of good luck and HAM had a few bits of bad luck, and made a few mistakes, still made a fight of it though.
2017 if you look only at results Merc won 12 of the 20 races, Ferrari won 5 and RB won 3. SEb had 3 pole positions, the rest were all Merc poles. so yes the Merc Dominated.
2018 started off very close. the Ferrari was arguably the better car. there was big fights between Merc and Red Bull, and then the Ferrari fell off a cliff when the Double fuel injection thing as banned. from there Lewis Dominated. he took all 11 Merc wins that year.
2019 Merc Dominated hard. 15 wins from 21 races.
2020 again Dominant performance, 13 wins from 17 races for the Merc only 2 going to Bottas.
2021 Merc was not the fastest Car Red Bull was. Lewis fought until the end.
2022 MAx Dominance and half a seson of fighting from Ferrari. Merc Nowhere, HAm kept fighting.
2023 REd Bull dominance, Max more so. Merc Nowhere, but Ham was always fighting.
2024 5 races of red Bull Dominance, then Mclaren came up and botched the title fight with stupid strategy calls.
so Ham got into a car that was a top 4 car in a season that was very compensative. he did not get into a Winning car, he and Alonso MADE it a winning car. his second season he again did not have the top car, but he took the championship. Ferrari won 8 of 18 races Ham won 5.
so again, to say he got into a championship winning car is factually inaccurate.
