Max Verstappen once declared his unwavering loyalty to his race engineer, Gianpiero Lambiase, stating that he would retire from Formula 1 if Lambiase ever left. Speaking to media, Verstappen remarked:
“I told him that I only want to work with him. As soon as he stops, I stop too.”
— Verstappen's bond with Lambiase has been a cornerstone of his success, with the pair achieving four F1 drivers' championships together. Reflecting on their relationship, Verstappen shared:
“It is unbelievable how we work together. Of course, we can be very strict with each other at some point, but I also want that.”
“He should be able to tell me if I'm a jerk and vice versa. I have always told him that.”
— Verstappen has expressed his reluctance to change race engineers, highlighting the critical role they play in a driver's performance. He stated:
“I've always been against switching race engineer, because they are very crucial in your performance, so the longer you can stay together, the better.”
— Despite occasional disagreements, Verstappen values the ability to resolve conflicts with Lambiase, as demonstrated during the 2023 Belgian GP. He noted:
“We can both be quite vocal or emotional, but we always solve it afterwards, so it's all good.”
— With Lambiase set to leave Red Bull at the end of 2028, Verstappen faces a pivotal decision regarding his future in F1. The question remains whether he will honor his past commitment to retire alongside
This is Formula 1

Writing is on the wall here, GP to be placed on gardening leave next year, Max either retires or takes a sabatical and RB will be midfield team for a few years.

The SF-26 with its new parts will run at Monza’s 200 km filming day on April 22.

If all goes to plan, the full package will be ready for Miami, including the “Macarena” reverse rear wing, which is estimated to offer gains in acceleration and over 6 kW in indirect energy-saving benefits.

I wonder if they've worked on the activation and deactivation speed of the wing. Apparently one of the issues was that it was taking a lot longer than the conventional flip up, flip down wing.

Tiger Woods has entered the chat. As has Luke Littler.

I'm not saying max is anywhere close to those guys ito impact on the sport, just pointing out it does happen
Tiger Woods, lol
Surely you meant Jack Nicklaus.

Nope. I meant Tiger Woods. He singlehandedly revolutionised professional golf. One simple example - total tour prize money increased by 400% in his debut year alone!

Sharing a car with two teammates in the six-hour race, Stroll personally picked up 175 seconds in time penalties for ignoring blue flags and track limits, part of a combined 430 seconds accumulated by the trio.
They finished P48 out of 49. Ironically, an Aston Martin won the race. Just not his.

Shocker.. I will say again, as long as Daddy Stroll keeps the window licker in the team, I can never take them seriously. No matter how much money he throws into this thing, this just reeks of pet project.

Meanwhile, Roberto Mehri (one of Stroll's teammates) racked up 255 penalty points of the 465, but sure. Let's focus on Stroll...
