It's become artificial for a long time already, not just now, unfortunately.Shame man, like I said, you part if the drama, fashion and politics crowd. Know nothing about racing.
Verstappen (and many others) does not complain because they not competitive, They say there is no skill involved. Its all just artificial.
The drivers that called it fun did not say its great for the sport. They said its fun. Playing Mario cart is fun.
Unfortunately F1 is not a game. Its serious business, many sponsors involved. Fun artificial racing will just last a few months, then fans will go look for real racing.
Their is no skill(driver) involved going fast on a straight.
How late you could brake, how fast you can go through a corner and how fast you can exit a corner is where the skills have always been.
Now we charge batteries with braking onto the corner, charge battery in the corner. All just to get the highest speed on the straights.
Simple as that. No skills involved. I you don't understand that, you don't understand racing.

That's exactly his frustration, the new cars don't allow you to drive them to the limit
or at allHis frustration is his car doesn’t allow him to go faster.
A lot of rumours that Andreas Seidl will be Aston Martins new team principal. Interesting if it’s more than just a rumour.
What happened to driving to the limit of what a shopping trolley can do?His frustration is his car doesn’t allow him to go faster.
The biggest change is that he doesn't have the fastest car designed specifically for him anymore. Now he and his dad is sulking with poor Jos saying he won't even be spectating anymore. What happened to driving to the limit of what a shopping trolley can do?
Driving these cars to the limit of what THEY can do per the regulations and their design, is exactly what he said in the past, driving said cars to the limits of what THEY can do per their design, how is what we see currently not doing that?
What changed.....
But that's a team car design issue, not an F1 regs issue then isn't it.To be fair I'd give him a break on that one. Two DNFs and turbo issues on the start is exactly what I'd expect from effectively a brand new power unit team. I still think he's driving the wheels off the car, but yeh, it's not helping his psyche.

Driving the car to its limit as defined by current regulations is driving the car to its limit, whatever that is. Simple as that.Is red bull the only car /team that is having to lift and coast into corners?
Why you playing pigeon chess with them. They don't understand the basics of racingIs red bull the only car /team that is having to lift and coast into corners?
Can't really blame him for the mess imho... this was all set in motion long before he was hired and he even had to stay out of things during his gardening leave too.I'm glad they're considering someone else. That's not a Newey role. It must have been discussed as a temporary role to start with surely.
No they're not. Your comments are though highlighting your lack of understanding of his (and Charles' and Lando's and Fernando's - and most of the others) complaints.Driving the car to its limit as defined by current regulations is driving the car to its limit, whatever that is. Simple as that.
Max's complaints are contradicting his comments from the past.
